Beloved,
Christmas is not about the gifts under the tree.
It is about the Gift who hung on a tree.
Every year we rush around looking for the perfect present: Something shiny, something expensive, something that says " I love you." Store overflow. Credit cards melt. And December 26th, half those gifts are already forgotten, returned, or gathering dust.
But two thousand years ago, Heaven opened it's vaults and sent the one Gift the world could never outgrow, never return, and never repay: Jesus.
